Book 2 of Korin's Journal Title Reveal

The first draft of Book 2 of Korin's Journal is rapidly approaching the finish.  Only 5-6 more chapters to go!  An early 2013 release (March or before) is looking likely!

Anyway, given that I have reached the chapter which is named for the title of the book, I feel I'm ready to announce the title.  So, here goes:

 The Forgotten King
Book 2 of Korin's Journal

So, who is this forgotten king?  I'd tell you, but I've forgotten (yes, it is a dumb joke, and no, I don't expect you to laugh).   As I finish up this draft, get it sent off for review, get info about the cover art, etc., I'll continue to update this blog with more The Forgotten King info.

It's so refreshing to know I won't have to keep referring to this book as Book 2 anymore :).

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. I just finished the e-book of Dragon Gem (Korin's Journal). It was fantastic. First e-book I've read & I could barely put it down. My only problem with it is I'm a bit of a closet editor & there were a number of misspelled words & grammatical problems. I can't wait for "The Forgotten King"!

    1. Thank you so much for the kind words and the great Amazon review! I'm very happy you enjoyed The Dragon Gem.

I've learned a lot since entering the self-publishing world, most importantly that a fresh, unbiased set of eyes is critical in editing and proofreading. I was a tad naive and thought I could do it on my own. But, we live and learn, right?

However, you'll be glad to hear that at the end of this month, The Forgotten King will be sent off to a proofreader and I have a couple beta readers going through it as well. I want The Forgotten King to be as polished as humanly possible. I'm very proud of it, and the scope of the story is quite massive compared to The Dragon Gem. I believe that fans of The Dragon Gem will be surprised(and hopefully delighted) about where the story goes in this one. I'm hoping to have it out by March at the latest.

I'll be updating my blog and facebook page( ) with news on The Forgotten King's progess as regularly as I can. Thank you for your feedback and for reading!
