Support St. Jude for a Chance to Win!

So, upcoming baby birth permitting, I will be running in the North Carolina Warrior Dash on May 17th, 2014.  I have signed up to collect donations for St. Jude through the Warrior Dash and would love to see some support for this wonderful organization.  If you are unfamiliar with St. Jude, check out their website to see the amazing work they do to advance the treatment of childhood cancer and other major diseases in children.

You can find my personal donation page at http://warrior.stjude.org/brianbeam.  To give a little extra incentive for people to donate to this worthy cause, I'm going to offer a few prizes that will be awarded based on a random drawing of names. For every $5 you donate, your name will be entered into the drawing.  If you pledge enough for multiple entries, you can potentially win multiple prizes.  My goal as of now is $300.

The prizes include(but may be expanded between now and May if this sparks interest)

-1 signed print copy of The Dragon Gem
-1 signed print copy of The Forgotten King
-1 signed print copy of Alinor's Shard
-1 Kindle copy of The Dragon Gem gifted through Amazon
-1 Kindle copy of The Forgotten King gifted through Amazon
-1 Kindle copy of Alinor's Shard gifted through Amazon
-Have your name, or a name of your choosing(within reason and upon my agreement) in Book 3 of Korin's Journal(I'll probably end up offering several of these).  There is no set release date for the book, so all I can say is it will most likely come out sometime in 2015.

For anyone who donates more than $10, not only will your name be entered into the drawing for the above prizes, but you will also be mentioned by name in the acknowledgments of Book 3 of Korin's Journal.  Again, there's no set release date for this book yet, so this will likely be over a year away, but I promise it will be in there!

As an added bonus, you can visit www.warriordash.com a couple weeks after the 5/17/2014 race, find the North Carolina event page, go to photos, type in my name, and then possibly see ridiculous muddy pictures of me!  Again, unless something new-baby related comes up before then.

I believe you are given the option to include a message when you donate.  If so, feel free to indicate if you prefer a particular prize if you win.  Alternatively, you can comment here, send me a message to bbeams32@gmail.com, or message me on Facebook(www.facebook.com/brianbeamauthor).  This isn't a requirement, but it will get you the prize you want most if you are drawn and that particular prize is still available.

I hope that someone reading this will decide to donate to what I feel to be an awesome cause!

Thanks!  And remember:

Please share this with your friends or family who may be interested in supporting St. Jude.

I'll be posting a blog soon on a book signing I have in the works next month!
